Willy Russell’s widely known musical may be over forty years old but it’s still as popular as ever. The Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells is the latest stop on its national tour, now well into its second decade, and it’s certainly a big coup for the town. Disappointingly, large scale musicals don’t come here often, for some unknown reason, so it’s a delight to see Bill Kenwright’s production choosing a week long run here.
