New Staff Join The House Of Miranda With Vanessa Williams Extending Her Reign And The Show Extending Until 26 September 2026

After a record-breaking debut year in the West End, becoming the fastest-selling show in the Dominion Theatre’s history, The Devil Wears Prada has announced a fresh wave of runway-ready cast members alongside another extension, with performances now booking until 26 September 2026.

Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives) will continue her reign as fashion’s fiercest icon, Miranda Priestly, until 18 April 2026. She will be joined until this date by Olivier Award winner and Grammy nominee Matt Henry, MBE, as Nigel, Runway’s creative fashion director, and James Darch (Mamma Mia!, Wicked) as the scheming journalist Christian.

Stepping into the coveted role of Andy is Stevie Doc (winner of ITV’s Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream and WhatsOnStage Award nominee for Mamma Mia!). She will be joined by Tailia Halford (Shucked, School of Rock) as Miranda’s fiery assistant Emily, and Keelan McAuley (Clueless, Heathers) as Andy’s boyfriend Nate.

The new ensemble includes Alex Woodward (also appearing as Hot Nurse), Anta Bah, Dean Makowshi-Clayton, Georgia Aspinall, Harry Tunningley, Jenna Bonner, Joshua Robinson, Justin-Lee Jones, Kimberley Hoyle, Mark Lamb, Selina Hamilton and Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister. Completing the cast are Gabby Antrobus, Selena Barron, Evonnee Bentley-Holder, Pamela Blair, Lloyd Davies, Jinny Gold, Luke Jackson, Emma Johnson, Debbie Kurup, Brandon Lee Sears, Nathan Lorainey-Dineen, Shannon Molloy, Eleanor Peach, Ethan Le Phong, Joshua Steel, Kayleigh Thadani and Tara Yasmin.

The new cast begin performances on Tuesday 21 October.

Since opening with record-breaking sales, the musical has played to ecstatic audiences and recently released its first Original Cast Recording, featuring two previously unheard Elton John demos. The album immediately charted as the #1 new release on the compilations chart.

Hilariously fun and fabulously stylish, The Devil Wears Prada is a story about ambition, sacrifice, and discovering who you truly want to be. With dazzling design, irresistible songs and Jerry Mitchell’s signature direction and choreography, it’s a new musical that’s hautter than hell.

Based on Lauren Weisberger’s bestselling novel and the hit 2006 film, the stage adaptation features music by Elton John, lyrics by Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick, a book by Kate Wetherhead, set design by Tim Hatley, costumes by Gregg Barnes, lighting by Bruno Poet, sound design by Gareth Owen, and casting by Jill Green CDG. The production is produced by Kevin McCollum, David Furnish and Jamie Wilson, in co-production with Theatre Royal Plymouth, and presented by special arrangement with Buena Vista Theatrical.
